About Cathie Crow

I am professional photographer who resides in the Myrtle Beach area.  Although I love taking pictures of all types, my specialty is beach portraits and doing event photography.  Recently I also worked on a congressional campaign taking both pictures and videos for the candidate.

From the first time I held a camera, I knew taking pictures was a something I wanted to excel in.  For many years I was an amateur photographer – then I started taking some courses to learn more about the nuances of the subject.  After graduating  from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I moved to the Myrtle Beach area where I first worked with LPM Enterprises, Inc.   Fortunately within a relatively short time, I was hired by a top photographer in the Myrtle Beach area to assist him during the tourist season.    That was when I came to the conclusion that this was the profession I wanted to pursue and as soon as the assignment was over, I made the decision to go out on my own .

Since then I have taken many photographs of weddings, nature and family beach pictures.  In 2009, two of my photos  of the Myrtle Beach area were featured in the 2009 Town Planner Calendar.
